Records held
HomeCover holds quote request records, website analytics records, correspondence with users and insurers, and standard company, tax and employment records.
How to request access
Submit a written request to the Information Officer at hello@homecover.co.za, describing the record sought, the right you seek to exercise and your preferred form of access. We respond within 30 days as required by the Act.
Grounds for refusal
Access may be refused where the record contains another person's personal information, commercially confidential information, or is privileged in legal proceedings, as set out in Chapter 4 of the Act.
Information Regulator
Complaints regarding a refusal may be lodged with the Information Regulator (South Africa), whose contact details are published at inforegulator.org.za.
